On October 28, 2016 West Perry Varsity football players set out against Shippensburg. There was little hope for the Mustangs going into the game due to Ship's reputation, but our boy's put up a fight.
The Greyhounds dominated the first quarter, scoring three touchdowns and barely letting the Mustangs touch the ball. The second quarter started with an impressive thirty-five yard pass by the Greyhounds, scoring yet another touchdown. West Perry's Terrance Quaker, number 22, brought up the Mustang spirit by catching a West Perry touchdown with a minute left on the clock. Twenty seconds later, Ship scored again, ending the first half of the game with a score of 6-35.
After a hard hit, Mustang number 15, Cameron May, was removed from the game due to a concussion. After three more touchdowns by the Greyhounds and one more impressive catch in the endzone by Terrance Quaker, the game ended with a score of 12-55.
