We all have those days- school is boggling our brains and we're just feeling stressed. Lucky for us, we're in a modern time when technology holds websites for almost anything. When you're in an academic bind or need to clear your mind, give these websites a shot.

Academic Websites
- Sparknotes- Well, of course. Sparknotes is great because it offers chapter summaries, character descriptions, and themes for almost any novel you'll have to read in school. Even if it's a book for pleasure, checking Sparknotes is great to see if you're following along and grasping the plot. Now, Sparknotes does not replace reading the book. Read the darn book.
- Shmoop- My English teacher freshman year introduced me to Shmoop. It helps with grammar, vocab, and topics of the sort. It's a helpful study tool.
- Youtube/EBooks- This has actually been recommended by many teachers I've talked to. If you're having trouble following along with a novel, finding an audio version and following along might help. It avoids obstacles with hard to pronounce words and odd sentence structures. Also, finding videos for math tutorials, such as Kahn Academy, will help in class.
- Purdue OWL- Purdue University is wonderful for making this website. It gives how to cite in MLA, APA, and gives insight on writing research papers and things like that. Definitely recommend for your next essay.
- EasyBib/Bibme- Automatic citations. Need I say more?
- Cymath- Are you struggling with a math problem? Are you tired of online math solvers that make you sign up to see the steps? Well, here's Cymath! It gives you all the steps to the problems and what property/operation they used. And the answer. It's a lifesaver. Now, I can not advocate pure cheating on homework. Use this website solely as a helper if you don't understand the process. Check your answers after you attempt the problem yourself.
- Purplemath- A math lifesaver. It explains topics and gives extra help if you need it.
- The Quiet Place Project- This website is wonderful. Check it out for a fun, calming experience. I stumbled upon it on Tumblr and absolutely adore it.
- Calm- Literally calm.com. Now, I haven't utilized this website yet, but it looks legitimate. Anything called calm.com has to be relaxing.
- Do Nothing- donothingfor2minutes.com. This website literally just has you do nothing for 2 minutes. What's better? Turn off your phone and relax.
- Listen to the Rain- simplynoise.com This website is simply the sound of rain. Nothing but the sound of rain. It gave me chills the first time I visited, it was that beautiful.
