Varsity Football - September 20, 2014

For their fourth game, West Perry Varsity headed out to Mechanicsburg for a rough game against Camp Hill on September 20, 2014. This game was full of pushes, tackles, clothes-lines, and many other fouls- Camp Hill was out for blood.
The game started off well for West Perry defense; Hunter Wilson made a great tackle on Camp Hill’s #5 and Josh Comp, #42, and Jake Owens, #83, received the ball and gained many yards. During the first quarter Camp Hill got three touchdowns and extra points alike. #24 Hunter Wilson also got a West Perry touchdown in that quarter with no extra point. At the end of the first quarter, #63 Hunter Whitcomb was injured and taken out of the game.
Camp Hill got yet another touchdown with an extra point and a field goal, making the score 31-6 in the second quarter. Next, in the third quarter, Camp Hill pulled even farther ahead with two more touchdowns and extra points in tow, making the score 45-6. With a team effort, quarterback Chris Lahmen ran the ball and then Jake Owens ran the ball first to the 36yrd. line, but then all the way up to the goal line in the end zone. Chris Lahmen made the touchdown in the 4th quarter with no extra point. Camp Hill got another touchdown and extra point, but right after #14 Cameron may got a West Perry touchdown and extra point in the 4th quarter. Soon after, there was a two point conversion by Nate Salinetro.
With a final score of 51-20, West Perry lost against Camp Hill.
