West Perry’s theatre program sets the stage for the undeniably satirical and oddly comedic play, The High Schooler’s Guide to the Galaxy.
EGG Productions, the name given to the fantastic group of directors Ewing, Grippin and Guyer, announced earlier this year that THGG would take the stage in the fall. The play opens with a group of high school students who address the audience about their worries regarding the next morning, their first day of high school. These naturally apprehensive freshmen are accompanied by both the Editor, Kelleigh Stevenson, and Author, Wyatt Richard, as the story is being told mainly through the pair's narration.
From ill-mannered high school students and a deafening gym teacher, to the notorious Freshmen Go Splat Club, this play has a little something for everyone. To fellow students, this play is the true epitome of high school! For one good laugh... or forty three... come out to support the local arts department and dedicated actors on the nights of November 11th and November 12th. Shows begin promptly at 7:00 pm! Be prepared to hold onto your pants as you're narrated through the chapters of The High Schooler’s Guide to the Galaxy.
