At an away game at Trinity, Varsity football had its sixth game on October 3, 2014.
West Perry started out the game receiving, #83 Jake Owens and #12 Chris Lehman running and starting the game off strong. The Trinity Shamrocks got a false start penalty before getting a touchdown in the 1st quarter with a good extra kick. Boosting up their score, the Shamrocks made a recovery in the end zone for touchdown in the 1st quarter with a good extra point kick. Rain poured down on everyone there, the score 21-0 when the rain made it difficult for the players to keep their footing in the grassy field. A pass interference and two false start penalties led up to a West Perry touchdown by Jake Owens with no extra point in the 2nd quarter.
A holding penalty against Trinity was right before they scored a touchdown in the 2nd quarter with a valid extra point kick. With the score at 28-6, silence spread across the field and the stands when West Perry player fell to the ground. #43 for West Perry had to be taken out by ambulance after long, silent moments on the field as he stayed sprawled on the ground. Trinity scored two touchdowns after the incident with extra points in tow before #24 Hunter Wilson scored a 74 yard touchdown for West Perry at the bottom of the 3rd quarter.
Holding and false start penalties continued to be called while the game began to come to an end. #31, Colton Group, of West Perry tackled a Trinity player, saving the Mustangs time on the field to get the ball moving. West Perry Varsity quarterback Chris Lehman got the final touchdown of the game at the bottom of the 4th quarter.
The final score of the game was 42-18, West Perry trailing behind Trinity.
