First Photo: This weird, squishy object is something you can’t find on a shelf. The store owners would most likely rather this object stay off of the shelf as it’s not a very useful tool. This is a soap holder that you put bars of soap in to prevent dirt from getting on it. I found this at the Family Dollar in New Bloomfield.
Second Photo: This is a Cheese Saver. It is used to prolong the life and cheesy goodness of your cheese. If you have an issue with your cheese getting moldy too fast, then this product could be for you. It was found at Karns in the back left corner of the store.
Third Photo: This is my mom standing with a three-foot dog bone. I don’t understand why you would buy a $16 dog bone, unless you are spoiling the pooch. It was found at Karns in the toilet paper and animal care section.
Fourth Photo: Birch beer, the flavor, doesn’t suit me very well, But in all fourteen years I have been on this planet, I have never seen a birch beer extract. If you are planning to do some baking and want the taste, this can be found at Karns in the baking section.
Fifth Photo: I have never seen kiwi in a can in my life. I doubt that this is as healthy as regular kiwi, due to all of the preservatives. If this suits your diet, it can be found in Karns in the canned foods section.
Sixth-Eighth Photo: I’m actually quite pleased I found this because it’s a pretty cool find. Two ladies that were in the store said they hadn’t seen some of the sodas since they were kids. With the weird names and designs of the bottles, I think this was a fun find. The communist soda was sold out, but it’s supposed to taste like a sad lemonade. I found this at True Value.
Ninth Photo: I couldn’t provide a photo of my own from the local PDS store because I forgot to take the photos when I bought two of them. If you would like to try a pickle in a bag, order them online or go to the PDS in Loysville. It is a weird and peculiar find. Bagged pickles can also be found at Sheetz, but not this exact brand.
